CHRISTIANS AND HINDUS: TOGETHER FOR NON-VIOLENCE
Non-violence is central to our beliefs as the way to promote truth, light, mutual respect, freedom and harmony. As religious leaders called to uphold the truth found in our respective religions, let us help to foster non-violence among our followers and support it in their actions.
CLARETIAN MISSION DAY 2008
Your own vocation will be seen to be energized by your commitment and the Christian life of your people will grow by experiencing your communion with them all. I ask you, therefore, to participate with the same enthusiasm and vigour, in all the new initiatives to be carried out by our Procurator General.

NEWS FROM HAITI
Haiti EMERGENCY
I guess you all are watching with interest the new socio-political troubles we are witnessing these three days. For three days now we have not been able to leave the house. The streets are empty, people are crying and demonstrating because they are dying of hunger with price of foodstuff skyrocketed. We hope this situation doesn't get out of hand and peace may come back. This is the actual situation right now in Haiti.

"Since 2005 our efforts are concentrated in Tagachi,
a village located few kilometres away from Bajayá where
took place in 2002 a genocide in which 108 persons died.
One of our challenges ahead is the rebuild the mission center
now in very bad condition due to floods caused by Atrato River.
