Summary

The Scolasticat P. Claret is a formation house for young people who wish to become Claretian Missionaries. In 1984 the Scolasticat has become a formation house for all French-, Spanish and Portuguese-speaking Africa, thus becoming the cultural centre where people from different historical and cultural backgrounds meet and share for an integral Claretian formation. Activities of the Scolastical involve academic, Claretian as well as human education.
The centre is currently equipped with a generator that has become obsolete and expensive. Objective of the project is therefore to purchase and install solar panels in order to solve the problem of electricity that will, in turn, help the students of the Seminar to study in an adequate environment.
